Office Depot is selling the 64GB version for $189. It is currently listed out of stock online, but if you place it in your cart, they state "usually ships in 15-20 days".

The Groupon deal shows "usually ships in 2.5 weeks", so the lead time would be about the same, and for $10 more you get an additional 32GB of memory. Also if there is a problem, returns/exchanges through Office Depot should be much simpler (assuming you have Office Depot stores nearby).

This weeks (---> Nov.1st) B'Buy Canada flyer shows 32gb $149 ! Plus they're offering bundled 64gb $320 and 32gb $250 (bundle includes rapid travel charger, minikeyboard, convertible case ...i presume is what is attached to kybrd )

Now they either received a new shipment recently ('cause they were seemingly all sold out over a month ago) or they're still all sold at the majority of stores and sucking people in so they can continue trying to upsell the unlearned into acquiring other brands .... especially the overpriced 'uns !

Will try to remember to chk stock at least one outlet next time out shopping ...
    imho

I just bought mine on Groupon. I have the worst luck with going into store for deals (always sold out).

Same here VDub. Every time I see one of these deals advertised in a big box store, I show up and there are none in stock. It's why I jumped on the Groupon offer so quickly.

The "Wireless etc..." boutiques (Sans-fil etc... in Qubec) are advertising 16GB at 99$ and the 32GB at 149$ But they are out of 16GB...

    WIRELESS etc...

You should call the store before going.

What made me buy, was Staples selling the 16Gb for $99 and the 32Gb for $118. But they had no stock by time I got around to it. I ended up buying32Gb from the Source on-line for $149 but they threw in a leather sleeve which I have found useful.

At these prices, this is a no brainer!

I bought PB thinking I would just use it as a Kobo. But really pleased with other things it does for me:
    - portable email access when travelling and for example on my boat at the marina (they have wifi)
    - Cheating at crosswords
    - Chart Display and navigation on my boat (great low cost app available)
    - Web surfing during TV ads!
    - Portable access to my PC files via cloud (Dropbox, G-Drive etc)

Most of these functions will continue to work even if RIM abandons the PB. (I have a very old iPaq that I had been using for same purposes until I got the PB)

I just bought a 64GB PB from Office Depot for $189. We already have an iPad 2 at home but couldn't pass up the deal. I currently use an iPhone 4s but prior to that I used a BB and have been waiting for BB10 to be come out next year. I may just switch over to a BB Bold if the reviews for BB10 device are not up to par.

In store. There was only 1 in stock for about 30 miles around Houston. This store was on my way from work so I took a chance and stop by to see if they still had it. I called another that had 1 and they were selling it as I was on the phone with the sales person.

I got my 64 for 190$ at office Depot too. They had 4 for sale and a few 16. Went in person but sucks cuz I bought 1 and so did my friend. But mine was already opened with finger prints and a password so I had to go back and drive 15 miles to exchange it then drive 15 back. Oh, I got it now and I love it like gold member loves gold.

Oh and sent from my PlayBook!

When I acquired mine awhile back (at F'Shop) I paid for it and then walked over to the convenient cutomer service counter. Opened it right there in store to confirm; _'factory-sealed' _no baby bump (did not spin on countertop) _the power on switch was an outie and _there were no scratches on any edge of the unit THEN i left the store smiling . . . . where at home I powered it up successfully 100% overnight and started the learning curve !

For people still looking for the PB at Office Depot. Some stores still carry the 32gig but it's not listed on their website. You have to ask for it at the store itself. The item number is 727458. I just bought another one for my parents. It's listed at $200 in their system but they will price match. I used Walmarts price of $159.

    Hope this helps.

This week in Ontario, Future Shop has the 32G for $149.99. It will be interesting to see if the price will go down further next week for the Black Friday sale.

And yet, there are still people out there who say that this is too expensive....the same people who think nothing of spending $199.99 for the NeoGeo X. I really don't understand people these days. LOL
