Pinch to zoom on Playbook not working
Hi there.
I am experiencing some weird behavior when using the pinch to zoom gestures on the playbook. as soon as I remove my fingers, the display zooms twice or more then moves right or left in a very strange manner. I cannot in fact zoom on any area of the browser without having this weird behavior.
does anyone experienced this behavior ?

Hi, no I'm not. What happens when you double tap? Have you cleared your browser cache and all?
Re: Pinch to zoom on Playbook not working
I am not sure but I think SOME webpages are designed to enlarge in specific ways. There's a local tv site that acts somewhat like that. I tap (or double tap) on the site to zoom it (rather than pinch zoom) and it will enlarge/zoom and then move the focus to the left side of their page. I can then drag the focus where I want it.
Re: Pinch to zoom on Playbook not working
thanks for the answers guys.
I noticed this weird behavior especially when I use the google Images browser. Just make a search on google images and try to zoom on any area. I am really interested to know what would be the result.
Try also to pinch and slide your fingers right or left. sometimes it works well and sometimes it goes south...
Re: Pinch to zoom on Playbook not working
Seems to work normally to me.
Re: Pinch to zoom on Playbook not working
so... could it be a hardware issue ? I will try to film this issue and post it here, just to hear your comments..

Re: Pinch to zoom on Playbook not working
I think that I found a way on how to fix this issue: I deactivated the Java script on the browser, and miraculously everything is running perfect now. the browser is fast as F1! What a difference!
And the pinch to zoom gesture is working perfectly now.
I hope that this will help anyone who is facing the same problem
Re: Pinch to zoom on Playbook not working
I get some bouncing around on Google images too. I wouldn't sweat it if that's the only time you experience it.
