I do agree, 7 inch is just perfect for portability...
8 would be optimum, actually, if the screen was 3/4 inch bigger and the bezel only 1/4 and still support swipe it would be perfect.

It's 7". Look at the picture.. I used the Same app, and it's the same ratio.

It's the obscure 7.25" version released only in Kiribati for two days this past November in celebration of Sea Urchin Day.

I actually did some work on the app in question and I can assure you that while Research In Motion did provide us with a number of interesting details about the PlayBook's future, they certainly did not at any time mention or have us develop against a larger tablet size.

Having a 10 inch version next to the 7 inch version would be awesome. I do a lot of websurfing and emailing on my current iPad and would appreciate a 10 inch screen.

i hope they don't do it.

one of rim's biggest problems is over saturation of products. having 3 or 4 models per product line just leads to confusion. do we need 2 7" models, and probably 2 10" models?

whittle things down to 1 tablet with 3g/4g/lte/whatever optional. have one model cell phone per product range. most people don't need to know there is a curve gsm or curve cdma. they just walk into their carrier's store and buy a phone. it just works on their carrier's network. make things simple because the majority of people are simple...tons
If both 7" and 10" PB's use the same screen resolution and aspect ratio then there is nothing to worry about.
