The PlayBook bootloader should be unlocked so we can install Firefox OS on it.

There is still hope. Check html5test website and check under tablet. You will be surprised.

I believe that it is time for Rim to lower the FULL draw BRIDGE and connect BB10 to the PB. But good review of your languishing pb.

Where is SOM? I was hoping that I would see a comment from him but I guess he never made it out of the cellar tonight...

Good find. That should quiet down the people that seem to think BlackBerry 10 for the PlayBook won't be ocming at all

I don't own a BB10 device yet, but even if I end up preferring the Z10, there's no way it will replace my PB. I don't browse or use the Internet on a phone by choice, only out of necessity, too small a screen. My PB will always be my go-to device. As for BB10 on the PB, I posted long ago when BB10 on the PB was speculation, that come or not, it won't change anything for me. The PB works just fine for me as it is. I have personal PBs and we have PBs at work and see no need to change at this point. As long as the PB keeps doing what it's doing now, I'm good.

Totally agree with the part of screen size. As smooth as Z10 is over the playbook, I could never surf the Web, read a book, play a game or watch a show on it. It's purely a communication device. As for the playbook until the upgrade arrive, it will serve mainly as my entertaining device.

I can recommend side loading "origami browser" even gets a better html5 score. Should check out the developers thread here on cb. As for that little raised bump on the back of the PlayBook, some batches had that.
