There is an app to turn your phone and even your Playbook into a keyboard and mouse for your computer. I tried it and it works pretty well (Freemote). I'm wondering if there is an app to make your phone into a keyboard for the Playbook. I can't stand the Playbook's keyboard and hate typing on it. Would love to be able to use my phone's keyboard. Anyone know of any app for that? Thanks.

rumour has it that will be available at some point. Would be super handy as a remote if you had the PB plugged into your TV HDMI

I hope it's coming soon. That would be sweet!

I suspect that, like many seemingly trivial ideas, sending the phone keystrokes "through the Bridge" to replace the Playbook virtual keyboard in all apps would be "tricky".

I'd be keen to see RIM add it to the list though as I'm not a fan of virtual keypads.

Not sure why it would be tricky. You can use your phone and the playbook to control your computer, so not sure why it would be difficult to do the same for the playbook.
