When I'm shooting a video with my P'Book is there a way to make one continuous file instead of creating a new file every time I want to pause? It's really pretty maddening.

I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure with any digital video recorder every time you stop recording and then start again, you begin a new video file. You will have to do some post-editing on a pc or mac with a video program to consolidate your recordings into one.

Yes, that is how my digital camcorder works as well as my PB. When you're editing, it's actually simpler to have smaller files to work with when you're importing them into a video editor program.

I just took a 23 minute video on my PB a couple of days ago so am curious to see how long it takes my PC software to import it since the file size will be quite large. Just haven't had time to get to it yet.
