PB won't restore from backup, same ID
Been searching around to no avail...
My PB was unable to speak to my at home laptop for months, but I managed to get by using dropbox, ect...
It's been slow and a little buggy, so I decided I would back it up onto my work computer and do a restore from there, with the hopes of a performance improvement and being able to once again connect to my at home laptop.
I did a partial backup of my app data and settings then did a factory reset. This was between Thursday evening and today (sunday).
I have successfully restored my settings, but I get a variety of errors when trying to restore my app data: wrong BBID (I only have one, so this is not the case) or corrupt back-up file (which I don't believe because it got the settings alright).
I've done this 3 or 4 times now, but when there's a successful start to my app data backup it completely finishes (the bar makes it all the way to the right - 4.26 GB) and then my PB resets and my desktop software says it was unable to restore properly.
Once the reset finishes, some apps are there while others are missing but still appear as uninstalled in App World. When I reinstall them, I seem to be missing any data associated with them. My GroovyNotes had all of my lesson plans (no I didn't backup using dropbox...sigh) , so I'd really like to be able to find a solution!
