Just got a new pair of Plantronics Backbeat 903 headphones.
Synced it with my 9810. Works perfectly.

So you can't use Bluetooth heaphones with a Playbook?
A2DP support will be part of OS2.0 so hopefully only 2 more months of waiting.
You can try the beta but some games lose sound.

The beta 2.0 does support a2dp if you want to give it a try. It's a developer beta but it functions quite well. If you don't like it you can always downgrade to OS1.
Unfortunately no, at least in OS 1.0.8. The BT audio profiles do however work in the latest developers' beta OS 2.0, so at least we know that it will be available to all in the new year. If this service is really important to you (and if you are an early-adopter type) it is possible to get the beta on your devices. But I would visit the sub forum dedicated to the OS and get some advice before you do this. There are definitely pros and cons to weigh before taking the plunge.
A2DP is working good in beta, I hope they release it in an official update before Feb. IMO it should have been there from the beginning
loving the beta right now. have overdrive loaded to my pb and now with bluetooth support i can listen to my fav audio books :cool:
Ok I just upgraded to the beta 2.0 and my headphones are working perfectly.
I had to delete and re-sync the pairing that I had created in 1.0 but now everything is good.
