    Got the 16GB today and it's stuck in a screensaver mode with bubbles. The power button doesn't work.

    I was so excited agaim gotta go on a hunt. I looked at the Kobo reader and it looked pretty nice.

    Anyone experienced it?

    "Power button doesn't work"... even if you hold it down for 10s straight? That should force a hard reset. It may get stuck again after that, but maybe that will get it past the sticking point.

    not 10 but 15 second turned it off but when I turn it back on it goes to the screen with bubbles and nothing

    turn the PB off, plug it into pc with desktop manager running, you`ll get a `cannot communicate` error box, select the option to install the OS, this`ll blank install it, should fix it for ya

    it sounds like its one of the bricked devices that were out in the very beginning. You will need to plug it into desktop manager and restart the PB probably and reload the OS/debrick the device. I will see if i can dig up the exact instructions

    I have never experienced this before. When I bought my PB I made sure I plugged it in and let it charge for at least half a day.

    One other suggestion - use the ac adapter - usb provides very little power and a very slow charge.

    Good luck.

    Oh, have you tried the 3-finger reboot:

    Press and Hold PowerOn and VolUp and VolDown all at the same time. At least 15-20 seconds.
