Now that OS 2.0 is out for the PlayBook, I was wondering if it is possible to obtain paid Android applications for my PlayBook. I have talked with the developers of Plane Finder, developed by Pinkfroot and they say they don't have any thoughts on bringing any of their applications to RIM devices. I said to them that OS 2.0 brings higher versatility to the PlayBook and the introduction of BB10 will make it much easier to develop applications on. I even showed them that I can run a Plane Finder alternative which is used for desktop computers.
If I am able to provide screenshots to him via Android App Player of Plane Finder running, he said he'd strongly consider bringing it out onto the PlayBook.
