    Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a refund after an app overcharged me for buying an in-app item?

    I bought 100 hints in the Logo Game but I was charged $2.99 twice! The problem started when the first time I hit purchase and App World told me there was a problem completing the transaction and to try again. So I hit purchase again only to have PayPal tell me 2 payments were sent.

    If it makes a difference, I only received 100 hints and NOT 200.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Have to email the vendor site. (Program vendor) app world doesn't refund, they are the go between. Open the program and hit your Berry button and select About. Should tell the software maker and email. I have been double charged before so I have been through it.

    I have had this happen to me but not on app world. I was refunded automatically a few days later. Cant hurt to be pro-active though

    Vendors/developers cannot refund. You need to e-mail appworldbilling@rim.com.

    Thanks all, I had to contact RIM directly for a refund. A few emails later and they are processing it. Thanks again for the info.
