Does anyone know what's up with the huge range of download sizes for OS 2.0? It seems that they are ranging from 350MB to 420MB or thereabouts. Any missing features or anything like that?

I've seen as low as 355 all the way to 548 how can that just be localization?

For Example, Canadian users don't get the Blackberry video store app. I'm sure there are other small tweaks that account for the differences.

MobileSyrup had their download for their PlayBook at 402MB. Mine was 376MB. Another was 408MB. All Canadians. Probably Ontarians. I know MobileSyrup is based in Toronto, which is where I live.

i used a canadian proxy to download the update, it came at 408 MB.

Mine was 406mb in Los Angeles. I saw someone last night say their's was 355mb and another person had a 571mb.

i just did a swipe and its 348mb....

same area, weird that the clean swipe required less mb then the beta, you think it would be the other way around?

Relax, guys, Skype and Kindle was a joke.

As for the size, it all depended on what version of the OS and what apps you had installed and what settings/lcalization you had (1.0.8. vs beta OS 2, Brige apps vs no apps, latest facebook vs older facebook, the standard 1.0.8 apps that you chose to delete, etc.)

In other words, everybody got absolutely the same OS. Nothing is missing and nothing is extra in your update. The size is nothing to worry about.

Mine initially was 404mb followed by a 25mb update straight after.

I assumed it had something like one do with what applications I had removed prior to install, could be wrong....
