Holy crap, what timing. I was reading about apple's released OS5 update, and (just) thinking about going back to the iPad2. I'm so happy to see this update, as I really do love the hardware. Downloading now!!!

I'm looking forward to the AIR update, new Facebook features, and hopefully see some surprise bugs removed. The other new features are just icing. Hopefully we'll see battery improved to how it was before the last update too. Enjoy it!

Have they actually thought to bring over all the stuff that works on the Torch (like autocorrect, just to name one...) at all?

wow! the rumour was true. while i charge my battery could you all do a beta test for me? does it fix anything? does the browser not freeze? does bridge file manager work? do you have to reload all the apps? do you lose any data? lookslike it will be another sleepless nite of testing

2 things:

-i have been trying to pair my BB to the PB via the bridge but not working. i tried 2 other BB sets andit didnt so the problem is from the bridge on the PB. im really hoping when i download the new PB software later today that it will work!

a question:

if I down load this new software (v1.0.5.2304), will it wipe out all the apps/videos/pix/docs currently stored on my PB?

did you notice the notification asterisk on the bringe mail icon

also the speed deleting bridge mail was improved with the bridge update and even more so with this update. it is on the virge of snappy
