*singing* "I got the whole web in my hands, I got the whole wide web(www) in my hands, I got the whole web in my hands, got the whole wide web in my hands. I got full flash support in my hands(time to put away my rooted nook), I got full flash support in my hands, I got full blown porn in my hands....." (:
I hope everyone that ordered one or walked into a store got theirs, others who have not, I hope it arrives soon, you will love it!!!
got the 32GB, best buy fell through(now I have a $50 gift card but want nothing from them, wish it was an amazon gift card). Went to an Office depot and the guy was real pushy in selling me some insurance for like $120, told him no and he gave me a look like I told him about his mother.

Same here... Office Depot is pushing their 2 year warranty plan...*giggle*
I have my mine.... its pretty awesome... Man App World is epic fail...
What is the thing about running Android Applications
has anyone else noticed you cant click links in emails in blackberry bridge? also can you not view pictures from your blackberry on the playbook? i guess i can just set my torch to auto add everything to photobucket...
anyway.. loving it, but hoping to see more apps soon, and pretty disapointed theres no sd slot..
I have my Playbook! Quite the ordeal though! I pre-ordered in-store at Best Buy, I get there and they didn't get any 32 GB ones, even though I ordered it! So I said forget that and went to Staples. They only had 16 GB too! Then I searched online and found that Office Depot in town had 1 32 GB Playbook and it is now MINE! I'm all paired up.
This will sound stupid but the hardest part was when they said "Swipe to continue", I kept trying to swipe all over the device, up, down, sideways.... and all they wanted was a little swipe over the words. D'oh!!!
Off to play! Once this thing gets more apps, it will be even more awesome!
Picked mine up at Best Buy, I called and asked if they could switch it to in-store pick up and they had five 32GB in stock. Love it, easy set-up, bridged instantly with my Bold.
Got mine this morning and returned it this afternoon. Both my home and business network use a non broadcast SSID. After over an hour with tech support and a call back from them to me, the BB guys informed me that "at this time" the Playbook OS does not support non broadcast SSID - but a patch should be coming in the next few weeks.
We will see. A bit surprised since on WiFi setup the option to name a hidden SSID exists (though obviously does not function).
Anyone figured out the Android stuff yet... there is supposed to an app that runs Android applications or some type of JVM
Not yet..... It's coming like the native e-mail client. Frickin ipad wasn't the item it is today on launch day either, but people tend to forget that....

You know the hardest part is getting in the mindset that i do not really need apps because i have everything like on my laptop (of course minus the chat apps which i hope they release soon) but that idea is hard to get used to because even my BB does not have full web.
but i am not sure how reviewers complaining about apps are unable to realize how huge this is and the fact we have everything we need using the web browser.
I mean if i use an app on my PC i want it (chat apps, msn, ...) but other thinks like facebook, youtube, ... not sure i care i mean if the app is better then the web version should be better so my experience on my laptop is nice.
so anyone complaining about apps and stuff take the time to think of this and use the full web on it, PB rocks
