    Mine does what I want and what I bought it for as well.
    I knew what it's limits were when I bought it.
    I don't need either Skype or Netflix.
    I have them on my laptop and never have used them.
    I have not updated my PlayBook after the second update after I got it in September 2012.
    I am not having any problems with mine.
    Email works perfectly for me. I have several accounts and they all work great.
    More than likely I will not be updating to BB 10 if it ever comes out either.
    I am not a gadget of the week type person. I use my tech stuff and pretty much all of my stuff until it wears out before I replace anything, not when the newest and latest and greatest new thing hits the store shelves.

    And after 2 years battery holds for 6+ hours of moderate use. What else can I ask for? Honestly I do not think that changing hardware every year is a necessity.
