I just picked up a Playbook off of Amazon from a Computer Shop in Toronto. I was going to use it for video chat with my son. It arrived with the Browser and Setup as the only 'apps' on the Playbook. I am running the 1753 upgrade now but wondering why all the normal stuff is missing (pictures, messages, camera, print to go etc...). Will the 1753 return the apps?

If it doesn't you can use dm or link to debrick it. With the pb off and dm or link open plug in the pb and choose update and or repair.

Usually you need to update it before use!

    Good luck!

Yes. What you're seeing is normal after a Playbook has been security wiped.
