So, I bought my PB presuming I'd be able to Skype with it, as the PB then became a neat travelling device, an excellent size for watching a video while seated on a plane, and for skype-ing with my kids from the lounge. The PB had nice AV hardware for this. I was shocked when I got home and realized Microsoft had blocked Skype from the PB.
So, now that the internal development for the PB is all but dead, can someone throw us a bone and permit Skype? With Skype, the device becomes slightly relevant for me.

No, Skype isn't being blocked it was never made for pbos which is different than BB10 so the Skype for BB10 won't work unless they update the pb which they are not.
