I've got an after market usb compatible radio in the car. I own a torch 9810 which plays no problem. It always has. I've just loaded my playbook with music and when trying to play in the car it won't. The car radio reads usb error. Is the playbook somehow not compatible? Should I change some settings? Thanks for the help

I use the line in jack in my car with my Playbook. Works great with the stock music app, djpad, mod file player, et al.
    Scotter75 and shogun80 like this.

^^^I'll give it a shot, but to satisfy my curiosity I'd still like to know why the playbook wont play and the 9810 does.

PlayBook USB is set up differently. Default connection wants to install driver software rather than show a simple memory stick version of itself.

Not sure if this would matter--have password turned on? When I connect my PB to USB Computer, it asked for password due to my security settings.

Did one of the suggestions work?

I have not actually tried mine with my car. I have not looked at my usb "in" for it in a long while and don't even know what cable would be needed. (if the rain abates - ha - I may head out and check!
