while the market share of old BB 7.0 phones must be at least 30 % in the UAE I have not seen one Playbook, no-one I spoke to has ever seen one
    BB Z10 are sold

the tablet market must be 85% Apple I-pads

BB must have been sleeping on the wheel the last 2 years

The PlayBook is more than 2 years now... and with its sales history, I don't think that any businessman in the Middle East will find reasonable reason (from business point of view) to keep inventory of this tablet and hope that it will still have customers... it is a high risk in business point of view considering that it is also incurring cost from their part for keeping an inventory of non-movable and profitable products... even the authorized dealer such as Axiom will never take that risk...

Anyway, there is still a handful of second hand PlayBooks that are being sold thru sites such as "expatriates.com"... you can still try your luck...
