With OS2 just days away what would you like to see as far as new tv commercials and what should they showcase and focus on?

First, I think RIM needs a CMO before they think about tackling any more advertisement campaigns. Once that happens, they need to look at what Apple and Samsung have done (the current leaders).

Apple somehow is the "first" at everything and makes consumers "need" their products. Samsung has recently come out with a campaign that is more memorable than other Android devices and has sparked interest on the internet (i.e., Gizmodo, Engadget post these ads).

If they can somehow combine the way Apple shows the use of their product with Samsung's whimsical factor I think they will have a winner.

Please, for the love of God, do not market the product on prime time television for enterprise users!!!!

Without a doubt the focus should be on the integrated contact feature. Commercials should focus on what the PB does better than the rest.

Remember the ads with Bill Gates and Seinfeld? DON'T DO THAT!

I don't think RIM should spend money on commercials until they have a new hardware release. It's not worth it to advertise 10 month old hardware that has been discounted.
