newbie looking for guidance

Iam new here and I have a playbook and looking for some guidance on where I how to root it

Be sure to check out the downside of rooting your playbook.. there are many... For me does not have enough for me to keep mine rooted... not like Jailbreaking your Idevice.... for me that is workwhile doing....

Like he said, think long and hard first. I've read enough in the forum to believe once you start down that road, there's no going back. You'll read where after rooting or attempts thereof, that trying to go back to factory settings results in a long road of wipes, crashes, glitches, hung reloads, etc... Some have worked out ok, but many have had nothing but problems since. You need to check out jafobabe's link, as well as research the forums.
