Not a great price, but thanks anyway. I picked up a 64 gig in mint condition with accessories for $60 on craigslist

Thanks for the link. That's a really good deal, considering 64GB and sealed.
Great low prices on the PlayBook. We can thank the business knowledge of a great man Thorstein sorry if I. Spelled your name wrong Thor but "It was the hardest decision I ever made"

Thanks but no thanks! In Canada, that works out to be approx $200 with their import charges, shipping and US conversion. Just picked up a 64gb for $60 cdn so I think there is much better deals out there

I'm not personally selling one. It's a store offering brand new ones.
At this point I think around 35 for the 16gb version, 50-60 for the 32gb version, and 75-90 for a 64gb version is more than fair. The reality is that I'd you want a.maximum performance blackberry device you e going to get a z30. I find myself using my Z10 more and more these days.

Personally wouldn't spend that much on a PB. Maybe if it was BOGO then it's more than fair!

I absolutely love the PlayBook and have several of them. I defend them and BlackBerry products in general against those who seek to denigrate them and their users. Nonetheless, I agree with you on the current fair prices for the various denominations of the PlayBook, and I would apply the same price ranges whether they are used, refurbished or new. One year ago, I would still have paid $140.00 for a new 64 GB one but not so today. With each day that goes by, the value of the PlayBook goes down for me.
Of course, "value" is subjective. For the haters, they would claim they would not want one even if someone gave it to them, but from somebody else's perspective, such as the person currently trying to sell a 32 GB unit on Craigslist for $230.00, he or she really believes (erroneously) it is worth that much or close to it. There is a sucker born everyday, and maybe someone will pay that ridiculous price for it.
For me, the impending demise of the Video Store and the current unavailability of it in new devices (or older devices which go through a security wipe) in U.S.A. makes it worth quite a bit less. That's right, if you have a PlayBook in U.S. that currently has the Video Store, be wary that it will "disappear" if you do a security wipe of the device. The Video Store and the movies that are on sale there made up to some extent for the shortcomings of the PlayBook. Moreover, I monitor tablet prices almost daily, and in recent months, I have seen many reputable tablets on sale at very good prices, whether new or refurbished.
For example, on 05-27-14, eBay had new iPad mini 64GB wifi models for $349 with free shipping. That's 45% off list price. I have so far stayed away from the fruit, not because I think it is not a good product, but because I did not think their products were good value for my money. Most, if not all tablets were discounted but the "i" products were still selling at list price. I have observed that to have changed over the past few months. The fruit is being discounted. If this continues, I may eat the forbidden fruit someday after all. Its value to me is slowly getting to be more in line with the market if you find a good sale.
In recent months, I have also seen many good and newer model tablets on sale at the $150.00 range (for refurbished ones and even new ones) and one can surely find an excellent choice in the $249.00 range for a new one. Most, if not all of these come with a micro-SDHC slot so the lower storage capacity (e.g., 8GB or 16GB) on the device itself is not a problem at all.
I still like the PlayBook and use it daily more than the other tablets I have, but I think I can objectively tell someone unfamiliar with the product that even for a 64GB model, $140.00 is way too much in today's tablet marketplace.
Thanks a lot, will try it.
