Just got an LTE PB, all went fine during set up, adding my BB ID and updating (but only to .668 NOT .1526)
All is working fine except the BB World icon is App World Icon and when clicked goes to a frozen browser screen.
Tried BB PB support but says my PB not eligible.
Not yet added a microSim and set mobile network to off
When I log in to BB on laptop my account recognizes the PB (guess as I used same ID as my Torch) but when it asks for password the password doesnt work.
Any ideas to get BB World loaded and most recent update (for LTE version - thought it was the same)
You noted that you "just got" - is it new? If so you should be covered by warranty. Unless the carriers are support for those "cell" models. Call them.
The PB has a one year warranty to the original purchaser. It also has 90 free Tech support. I do not know how Rim deals with "quasi-tech support v. warranty"

Just tried the .1753 update . . . almost perfect!!
Loaded fine, setup and BBPin OK and now have BBWorld.
Few icons missing that are on my WiFi PB: Twitter/FB/Hotmail not a really big deal.
Brand new unused but must be a 'shelf' or 'demo' as is not supported when I register it
I don't fully recall the "registration" procedure but it did not work in many cases. So calling one of the support numbers may be the best way to establish a full warranty period. You might have to "button" through some steps.
But it sounds as if you may have gotten things straightened out. Although, I think I've read some folks have run into problems trying to use their Sim cards if you do want the cellular aspect????????????
