Nothing earth-shaking here.....was out browsing at the local Best Buy here & came across this Rocketfish tablet stand. Went ahead & picked one up - $15. Very well built - solid all-aluminum stand, plastic shelf & rubber non-slip footing. Already have several BB cases & sleeves, but thought this would be nice while at home running the PlayBook naked. Always nice when a new inexpensive toy works out perfect....ha!

That looks like it'll work better in the office than the PB dock. This will allow charging and connection to the computer.

EdS817 - Yes, you're right....the shelf has a large cutout in it that perfectly aligns with the 3 connectors so that any of them can be used while sitting on the stand. I don't work at a desk, but if I did I'd have to get a second one of these stands for work.

I would've, initially, prefered black...but it only comes in natural brushed aluminum. After getting it home & setting the PB on it, I really like the combo - the shelf is black, tho! I'm sure a person could paint the aluminum black with a little patience and a small $5 can of black aluminum paint.....

I guess I'll find out soon enough. If you look on ebay there are not that many stands. Some are wire, plastic and just junky.

This is one of the best I've seen. I wish it was a bit smaller (iPad fits it), but it will do nicely and fit my 10" Playbook IPTV, Speakerphone, Wireless NAT, DLNA streaming media device when they come out with it.

I picked up the Logitech keyboard that looks a lot like that one (though yours looks like brushed aluminium). It's in its own case that becomes an easel for the PB. Not as portable as the RIM OEM Bluetooth keyboard, unfortunately, but WAY better to type on.
