Holy bridge browser batman! The new bridge browser is almost as fast as wifi. Im rockin multiple tabs and blazing away here!
Go and have a look at the available RAM while browsing with the Bridge browser. It is a memory eater.

Mine seems much faster as well. I still turn off Flash and Java and it really moves after doing that.

I'm jealously reading these reports of bridge browser speed increases following the latest updates and wondering what I'm doing wrong. Here are my software versions:

    Bold 9700: 6.0.0.534
    Bridge: 1.0.0.93
    Playbook: 1.0.5.2304

    Network: Bell 3G

As others have suggested, I deleted the PB profile from my phone after the software updates were complete and reconnected them. No noticeable improvement in Bridge Browser performance. Still takes me about 75 secs to load the Crackberry homepage.

    Am i missing something?

Bridge browser is definitely faster and more reliable. But I'm stuck in full view mode - it's not going back to WAP3 when I select it. It changes fine in the native browser, but not the bridge...

Bridge browser cannot open email links any longer... "Error: Unhandled protocol. The browser does not know how to handle the web page."
I think it is the webpage you are trying to view because email links work perfect in the bridge browser for me

At my location in Sarnia, ON, with 4 bars on the Torch, running speedtest.net

Bridge Browser: Ping 183 ms, DL 0.83 Mbps, UL 0.38 Mbps

Tethering (Rogers): Ping 216 ms, DL 0.87 Mbps, UL 0.29 Mbps

WiFi (also across Rogers net, on a known slow network):

Ping 35 ms, DL 7.13 Mbps, UL 3.36 Mbps

Previous to the update this morning, I could not even get speedtest to run on the Bridge Browser. So this confirms another "hidden improvement" in the latest update.
