Perhaps BB is looking at interest from developers to make apps, maybe for the 10 inch BlackForest.

Seems a bit premature for a launch since TH wanted a business case that made financial sense for the next tablet. A tablet is in development, but it has to stand a chance of making money, probably in the high end. TH definitely does not want to play in the $200 space.

But the $200 market is where everyone is competing: Nexus 7, The new HP Slate, Kindle Fire, etc.

It is NOT going to WOW unless they get the big name apps on this and keep them coming - just my cynical opinion.

I agree to a certain extent. Although Skypes not there yet,it will be. Apparently instascam too so it is they are making progress and we may get a few surprise apps for the U.S launch. Netflix needs to be there,yes.

Apps are great but what I meant when I said WOW is baked in features.

I saw in the article that they were working on a note application. This is a must.

If they can pack in some awesome features that WOW they should be in good shape. Provided the apps are there as you mentioned.

10 inch tablets are great but I truly hope they have a follow up to the 7 inch PLAYBOOK we all know.

Choice is a wonderful thing.

Nothing happening until at least the end of Q1. The existing playbooks, the first gens, are starting to get a bit slow so it's fair to expect a new tablet, like the leaked image says (which places the BB10 PB update between Q1 AND Q2). There is still reason to also expect a 10 inch tablet, and it must be one with excellent bluetooth connections and that lets you work office docs well.

They can do that but few will buy if there are no Apps . Apps on phones are a nice to have but on Tablets they are required. I guess their would be some who will buy it for "the bridge" .

I for one will jump all over a 10" PlayBook. But most importantly I truly believe a 10" PlayBook with all the 'neccessary' apps would not only make a big splash upon launch into the crowded tablet market, but it would also draw attention to the 7" PlayBook. I personally would use both for different reasons. 10" for business. My current 7" for personal fun and web surfing. I can imagine that others would also see the same benefit as I. Dad takes his 10" PlayBook with him in his man purse or briefcase. And Mom takes her 7" PlayBook with her conviently tucked away in her purse.

In the long term scheme of things, I see a 10" PlayBook as a positive. But that's just my .02 cents.
