After upgrading to the new PB OS, I see a 5 MB OS upgrade available with the same version number as previous (1.0.5.2304). Anyone knows what this is? Looks to small to be a complete new OS update, and at the same time it has the same version number. A bit worried that if I download it, it would screw up the PB.
you deleted a addon or home screen bookmark like gmail that came with it or was added in the update. usually ranges 3-5mb, so no you just did something rim needs to change. nothing see here this the 1000th one.
they need to make it so that you can delete the gmail icon and what not for good. thats whats been eating me, and flash 10.3 but android just got there's so our should be next when ever that is.
If you delete them they keep coming back as a 5meg update. I now have them sat at the bottom of my apps list and everything I use is now organised to be at the top so these don't get in the way or bother me. Quite annoyting though how they are foced back on us when we are given the choice to delete.
I also deleted the shortcuts. And got the small update pushed to me today. Thought it was going to be something exciting. But it was just Big Brother telling me what to keep on my homescreen. Bummer
I got the same 6MB update today, reinstalling the icons I deleted! I guess RIM thinks I really need them, or maybe they got ad money for pre-installing them!
