Neutron continues to support PlayBook with regular updates, that alone makes it worth 6 bucks. And yes its an excellent audio player.

    Yeah it's great!

Only bad thing about it is that it's a battery killer.

Its a stunning player. Neutron has very flexible configurations,so all regular listener needs are covered. Even audiophiles ones I dare to say, because its supports lossless audio formats with a pretty neat output quality. Its works like a charm on the Playbook.

I purchased Neutron player not long after I had my Z10 and it was a fantastic player. Now though with the 10.3 OS and the Music Player having an Equalizer I no longer use it.
It uses far to much battery and a lot of the settings are gimmicky and can make the sound worse, though 64bit processing is good.

Not convinced it's worth the 6 bucks though unless you have a REAL need for a player of this kind.

Worth it for both my PlayBook and Z30. I love the proximity sensor support. I just wave my hand and it can move forward or backward on my tracks.

Hey, how does that work? I know it wont on the Playbook as it doesn't have a proximity sensor but my Z30 dose. Give us a heads up on that and I'll give it a go when I get my Z30 back from repair..

Buy the app for your device and you can use it for PlayBook as well without having to purchase the app again. Works great. A bit battery drainer though.

But take note that it's just a player with AMAZING Capabilities. It's also important that your music source is clean and high quality. As they say "garbage in, garbage out".

Once (and if) you buy it, take a look at Neuron support forum. Sometimes, after update, there is a bug or two.
But overall, this is excellent player, I agree with all positive recommendations.

Curious about using Neutron player to stream music (FLAC) from pc to PlayBook. Is that workable? I have probably 5TB+ of live music on FLAC and I'm thinking of the possibilities of streaming from pc>PB and then to my system via HDMI.

I have all my albums on FLAC and have moved many to the Playbook. Neutron plays them perfectly; and I connect the Playbook/Neutron to the internal system in my car and it plays back through the car speakers, even though my car manule explains that it can only handle WAVE and WMA.

    Dear CTU2fan

I have just taken back a BB PlayBook and found that I am, this very minute connected to my BB Z10 100-STL2 and my Samsung Giga Sound System.

So if the answer your looking for is if you're Neutron Media Player can multi connect.
Then I must say that the answer is YES YES YES.
But I have found out that my phone cannot multi Bluetooth, as I said, I am playing my sound system and I can remote control my BB PlayBook from my Z10 100-STL2

I have come across one problem though.
Though I started by trying to connect my phone first of all, before I thought of connecting my sound system.
It is for first time I have brought the BB PlayBook to this part of the UK and though I have been having a great internet connection from where I brought my BB PlayBook.
I am not getting any Internet connection here. Which is quite puzzling.

That is a question I will have to add to another thread.

    Good Luck CTU2fan.

    Yeah VinLou

There's quiet a lot of tech language, which doesn't help a simple guy like me to navigate what and where I want it all to go.
Particularly after paying a good price for it.
There should be a quick-step manual.

But I do love that app

bought it..dont mind the UInterface..not bad...Is a bit convoluted but I think it allows you to play with so many settings that it is understandable..The only downside for me is that it does not come with some presets..I was able to find some online but how/where do I put the xml file??

    thanks
