i made a 1080p recording. the playback on the playbook is excellent. however, once copied to a pc and playing back via quicktime the video playback studders. audio is fine. do i need a codec? if so which one?

    thanks in advanced

I think your question has too many answers

    - 1080p requires a fairly stable PC and setup.
    - Quicktime is terrible, I'd try using another if possible (VLC Player / WMP)
    - You might need to install missing codecs (i.e. K-Lite is what I use)

Typically, video stutter (non-audio) means video codec issue. But its a long list to go through to give you set advice. To be honest, you might need quite a bit of troubleshooting to get it running well.

VLC does not require you to install any codecs. If VLC stutters, your PC does not have the chops to play 1080p. Try 720p
