I had to move my bb app world account and id to another playbook due to problems with original. Kept my id to keep my paid apps and all reloaded except for this app. It loaded but gave message that the app was in use on old pb which it was not. Could not load any charts as the key given was for old pb.

So I sent an email to support asking how to reload and was willing to repurchase as my 1year was almost up anyway. No response. Sent another a week later. No response. Sent.a Facebook entry describing issue. No response from NC but one readers suggested a fix which did not work. Sent another email a week later to support. No response.

Added a new Facebook entry questioning lack of support and that I had to move on with Navtronics app on my cell as a solution.

Love and behold someone at NC must read their Facebook Page both of my posts have now been removed.

Speaks volumes about the customer support they provide.

The app did the job for me other than the keep alive issue however one would think they would like to keep a paying customer.

BookReader... great App at one time, but the coding must have had a time bug. It's unusable now and the developer is no longer around. Think you will find the PlayBook is not going to get much love from developers - big or small.

Sorry to hear that, I saw a app in Beta Zone called Marine Assistant. Sounds like it could be of some use for you.
Not sure if they have a Playbook version.

I have had similar bad experience with Nautical Charts. The ap really did not work on Playbook because it lacked the keep awake feature that is must. Besides that, the kept issuing "updates". But all these updates did was cripple the ap that I had paid for. Strongly recommend that noone buy or use the Nautical Charts ap.

I use Navionics for all my charts. Works well on my Z30. Bought it through Google play and downloaded the apk through snap.
