It was brought to my attention that an email that I sent at 8:23pm cst showed up on the recipient's email as Friday morning at 01:23 am cst.

I thought maybe it was his web based email client so I sent a test email from my bb pb to my bb torch and the same thing happened. Message was sent at 9:44pm cst and it shows up as 02:44am on Friday morning.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so how may I fix this?

Nope. Make sure your PB is set to the correct time zone. By default it isn't set to CST

It's a known issue which a search should show others have reported numerous times. I expect we'll see this fixed in the next maintenance update...
