I just checked my Staples on-line order, and my Playbook has shipped. I have a tracking number. It was scheduled for delivery for Tuesday (by Staples) but it shows it will be delivered Monday by 5 pm!!!!

I just called them. The woman told me my new order number would be available on monday and since I pre ordered on 3/22 she felt I would be getting mine on the 18th or 19th. She did say the latest would be the 20th. So, now I wait again.

I pre-ordered mine on the 22nd. My status changed and it says delivery expected on the 19th and my order is "available"...whatever that means..LOL It still doesn't say it has actually shipped, though.
I pre-ordered mine on 3/22. It is now scheduled for delivery to my local Staples store on 4/21 by "end of day."
That's pretty lousy timing for a product being released on 4/19. I can wait a couple more days, but I doubt I'll ever be shopping at Staples again. They've really botched this product introduction.
Same here 64gb... called and csr looked thru notes and then had to put me on hold to be connected with supervisor.. then told they would have more info on order status on Monday??? Amazing.....
Staples.ca continues their poor handling of preorders.
I called today since I've received no further information from them since my preorder was assigned an April 6 delivery date.
When I called today I was told that "the order will be processed in the next few days (emphasis mine)" and "shipments will be made based on unit and driver availability". The CSR couldn't be any more specific about when I might expect my unit.
Seriously. One business day before release and they have no clue if they have enough units or enough drivers to deliver them?
I have learned my lesson about staples. I will only use them for pen refills in the future!
It's weird. I'm getting the 16gb, but mine was only pre-ordered on 04/13/11 and it was shipped yesterday. It will arrive on 04/19/11.
Could depend on where you're located. I'm in Cali. It's funny though, I'm 4 blocks away from staples (it's literally just down the street and I walk by every day to catch the bus for work) but it's being shipped from Sacramento, and that's why it'll take until the 19th.
Seems there's no consistency with Staples. Am in Southern Cali and my pre-ordered 32g (ordered 4/9) was shipped yesterday from a DC in Dallas, TX with delivery date set for 4/20...mmmmhhhh.....I'm hoping for an early delivery!

Same here, but I pre-ordered the first day (3/22). SoCal also, 32gb delivered from Dallas.
