    I think I've created my own custom BlackBerry PlayBook Car Mount...

    It is a very low cost simple mount made of a 2 kitchen-door-handle.
    The PlayBook is in a case from Pdair - PDair BlackBerry PlayBook Leather Case - Book Type (Black) Ver. 2

    Here are some pictures;

    The red line shows the 'mount' with nothing on it

    This is how I thought it should be, the leather case behind the handle, and slide it down.

    It is the windshield that is wet, not the PlayBook :-D

    The cleanest install I have seen thus far. Just seems there is no good place to put it. It's either blocking vents, heater controls or airbags.

    I agree. It does look pretty good, maybe on other car model it can be very much comfortable to use

    Genius!

    Very similar to my Torch mount using a $0.01 piece of string.

    Small holes drilled in the dash, the handle is attached with simple screws.

    I hope your diesel or TSI. My FSI has been nothing but trouble. I have the RNS-E in my A3 and while it plays video it would be great to have a touchscreen device in the dash. Hopefully in the future the PB will be able to do more. It would look good recessed in the dash where the factory nav is. I sat in the car and looked for a place to put the PB but couldn't come up with anything. The way you mounted it opens up more options. Thanks for sharing.

    Good idea, however the angle doesn't look like it would be at the most functional angle...love the outside-the-box thinking, nonetheless!
