At this point I would hazard a guess that it does not work, as bluetooth headphones do not work. The OS lacks the correct Bluetooth profiles for audio devices.

I am going to try again after tomorrows OS upgrade, as it wouldnt suprise me if this is one of the little niggles that get fixed.

what's the verdict on this. I can not connect to my gateway with the playbook but the bold connected like a dream. But I have tried many times and can connect my playbook.

Depends on how you're trying to connect.

Bold has NFC, so you just have to tap your phone against the device to get it to register. Playbook doesn't have NFC, so you need to go into Bluetooth devices in the control panel and pair it.

Just updating. Very very cool device now that I understand only one output lol. I ran this thing through many beers last night and will SWEET. Not one time did I have to use the pc and I was all over the room with the bb. The convience is the biggest reason to get this. I'm in the process of reducing all my mp3s to lower bit rate and hope to fit everything I would need to survive on an island 64g pb and 32g pb and 32g + 6g internal bold and 32g old unused curve all on the bb music gateway all bluetooth conncected
