For some reason i have had three notifications pop up showing 4mb updates to 2.1.0.1032. I did the original update last week which was 300+mb if i remember correctly. I do the update each time but seems weird this keeps happening. Any ideas why this is happening?

Are you deleting any of the core apps?

Or are you using a proxy to switch regions? Maybe two different regions have different localisation.

this seems to be an isolated case. try doing it one more time, if it doesn't go away ignore it

No. I have deleted one or two apps recently but nothing core.

I do use a proxy at home (which is where i have been asked to update) but its not at the router level and i dont have it on the playbook. The PB is employer issued so its attached to my phone which is on BES. could it be pushed from IT dept? im not permitted to change proxy settings for anything work issued.

Thats what I originally thought but it has happened several times now. I will continue to monitor and ask IT about it when I get back to work tomorrow .
