Movies which I converted to MP4 to use on my phone, when copied off phone over to PC, then copied to PB, look grainy on PB but great on 9700. What am I doing wrong?
Would need to know the resolution and bit rate of the videos in question but the simple answer is you are taking a video file encoded for a 2.5in screen and are now stretching it out on a 7in screen.
The PlayBook doesn't have a "smoothing" filter when playing lower resolution video clips when scaled to fit the screen of the tablet. One issue I ran into on my early on PlayBook adventures.

humm, that,s probably it, i remember the choice on rip was specifically for blackberry phone, it was over a year ago i ripped them.
