I've gotten a couple of emails when bridged to my phone that have mp3's attached to them....but i cant download them. It shows the music note, but says unsupported attachment. Does that sound right?

I get that with .wav files that our vmail system forwards. I can open them from OWA, so I think it might be a Bridge limitation. Hopefully it will be resolved with OS2 since the Bridge seems much more robust.

Yes, because by design, the bridge does not support MP3 or video files. RIM likely made this decision because of the size of these files.

You can save the unsupported files by forwarding them to a web mail account and downloading from there. Alternatively, you can save them by opening the email on your phone and saving the file to your sd card. You then have to transfer the file using your PC and WiFi. Or you can use a 3rd-party file browser to transfer the files. Personally, I like to use the web mail method because it involves less steps.

    Hope this helps.

In the Remote Control video demo, when they are showing the Open on PlayBook feature, he says that it will work for a variety of files including videos and pictures, so it has hopefully gotten much better.
