Hi guys... just picked up my new blackberry playbook today, got home and upgraded to the new beta 2.0.6149... after rebooting, i had lost all of the shortcut tabs on the home screen, so i did a security wipe, and still nothing... Anybody experience this?

The beta doesn't have tabs it uses folders. If you hold an icon till it flashes you can then drag it onto another icon creating a folder which you can name. You can also drag some icons up top for quick access.

The great thing about Crackberry is there is always someone who knows more than you and is willing to help. Glad you were able to figure it out

You can also drag an icon off to the side and create another pane. I don't what we are calling them but you will see little dots indicating you have another active pane.
You can look up some you tube videos to see what I mean.

You can side load android apps(look in the android app forum). There are only a few in app world. 3d holophonics in app world is an android. Download it and you can see how android apps are going to work in the player. The beta supports a2dp. I like the UI better and it seems a little smoother. We have 2 PB's so I can keep one on OS1 and don't lose video chat while playing around with the beta.

Yes sir. I'm hoping it will be next generation of BB phones as well.
There are cross platform video chat options. Reel portal is one.
