If the pre-orders already hit the maximum inventory to the point the vendors had to stop selling them, it bodes well for the BlackBerry-branded Bluetooth keyboard and convertible case combination. Rest assured once the actual publicly-available date of 23 March 2012 rolls around the product should be available for order again. As with all product pre-order promotions the inventory level is kept relatively low and does not mean there is no remaining inventory.
This doesn't surprise me at all, this is a PlayBook accessory that was well received when introduced a few months back. A case and bluetooth keyboard wrap into a neat little package to go along with a powerful tablet......."priceless"
Maybe they're revising the specs on the thing, like using REAL LEATHER, which should have been a no brainer at that MSRP. I have no need for a keyboard, but if they had made that keyboard in real leather, I would be interested in buying one...$120.00 for all plastic/poly-vinyl/petro based/dinosourced materials doesn't cut it for me.
I finally picked mine up today and it is really "mini". I think RIM's trying to gauge interest in the keyboard because it's not going to be for everyone (especially with bridge 2.0 having the remote typing function). Personally I think the mini keyboard is awesome, so hopefully more people will buy it!
