Expected release date is March 23rd @$119. I know I've read some posts asking when it will be coming.

    Will you buy one?

The Source in Canada seems to be offering pre-orders.

Lots of computer places have them listed on their website.

Just Google ACC-41616-001 and see what comes up. Even Amazon.ca lists this item...although no date.

I just saw at gocellular.ca that they are taking preorders @ $97.99 as well as directdial.com is @ $88

Make sure you shop around for best price before buying.

I'm on this asap. This is an accessory which turns the ultraportable PB into a workhorse. Need a stronger office suite to take advantage of it.

I am going to purchase right away, no hesitation. At one of the Blackberry events in Toronto the presenter was showing one of these off at the breaks and it was very slick. Nice, small and sweet.

Once we get better functioning Office Software and better support for cloud services, we use Box and Sugarsync. Getting closer but not quite there.

you know i like the idea behind the keyboard and all but im rather disapointed. the way i think it should have been done is not to do it wifi but have them physically conected via the docking port. also it would have been nice if the keyboard has a nice juicy battery in it that can act as a secondary battery for the playbook so we can extend the overall battery life between charges. thats my two cents anyways.

At $120 it is overpriced just like the rapid chargers were overpriced. Sorry, but I'm going to wait a little while and then snag one for half-price at Staples, lol.

This is an area in which Research In Motion has definitely fallen down despite purchasing the development rights to DataViz's Docs-to-Go for the BlackBerry. At the very least, Research In Motion could contract-out the development of a complete office suite that adheres to Open Document Format and is capable of supporting Microsoft Office document formats as well. They seem to miss the boat on the fact the tablet or an integrated smartphone and tablet form-factor are the way of the future. Intellectual incest springs to mind whenever I think about the numerous missed opportunities to market and develop the BlackBerry PlayBook.

Absolutely. If you field of study does not require a desktop computer or notebook computer for specialized applications, the BalckBerry PlayBook combined with a BlackBerry smartphone and a BlackBerry Case & Keyboard would make you the envy of every other student. I would still recommend a good stylus as well.

March 23rd... Right on my bday!!
    I accept presents happily...
Seriously, the price is a bit too much for this though... And it coming out so late makes any money spent on other cases a waste... Will have to wait it up i guess and see how the price plays out.
    Cool though!!

Any idea how "hard" the case is? I wouldn't mind one of these but it would mean removing my Otterbox Defender and I'd like to know how much protection this case will provide.
