This simple adaptor works flawlessly, if you don't mind unplugging your main HDMI cable. The female HDMI end connects to your regular HDMI cable, and the micro-HDMI male connects to your playbook - simple solution if you don't want another cable.
The adapter I bought from mono price just came in today and works great. All for a few dollars. I also bought an adapter that has a longer lead so it has a 1 foot thin hdmi cable between the micro and regular. More flexible.
I've got the short adapter from Monoprice. The longer one was out of stock the day I ordered.
I also bought a 6' MicroHDMI to HDMI cable to take with me when I travel. It's much thinner than a regular HDMI cable.
