I have two videos on my PB, Avatar and the HD movie that came on it. Both had been working fine. Now whenever I try to play either of them, I get a popup that says: "Media Error, an error has occurred, please try again." Any ideas?

That did it. Now I feel dumb. Still dont know what caused it to quit playing videos though.

I've seen it as well, and just found it again. Definitely a resource issue. I could play non HD vids without error, HD videos, including the demo and one I shot with the PB, would not play.

Killing other apps, including the brower, resolved the issue. No reboot was required.

Im having the same issue with some of my vids. will play the first 5min or so then error comes up. or of i try to fast forword vid error comes up. tried restart, tryed closing all other programs... still no luck. please help

No problem here. If I were getting what andydahmer is I would backup, security wipe and see if that helps if not I would do a debrick and if that didn't do it I would call RIM.
