Adchoices has appeared on my playbook and I need to remove it. Can anyone help? There online resources to remove it from IE and Chrome but I can find nothing to remove it from PlayBook. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Where are you seeing it? In your BlackBerry World installed Apps?

Can you screen shot this? There should not be anything that silently installed on your device. so could your browser simply be rendering what the page shows? Some websites have inline word based adds.

Sounds like a website issue, not a PlayBook issue. All the browser plugins do is ignore the ad word coding when they render the page, so the links over some words are there, you just don't see them.

I am no techy but what you are seeing is probably attached to the site you are viewing - maybe not actually on the playbook.

I have attached a page shot. The Galaxy S4 ad at the top is a popular from Adchoices (see the cone-like symbol in the top right corner). Malware adchoices-img_00000025.jpg

I hope that page shot was successfully attached.

Its coming from your search history. Clear your history and it will be gone.
