don't know if anyone posted this but...
my Nokia Lumia 710 was updated this month to the new OS release Tango and internet sharing was one of the new features.
I was able to test sharing my 4G connection via wifi from the lumia to the BB Playbook and it worked like a charm.
Although it's not bridge through a 4G Bold 9900 it does seem faster than bluetooth bridging.

i've linked my ultrabook and ipad as well.

i do have the time warner 4G pocket hotspot but it's nice to know i can use my phone and BB PB now over a reasonably inexpensive network without the 3rd device.

a verizon 4G LTE BB and a PB with unlimited data still seems to be the dream setup but i haven't found it yet.

Direct Tethering IS faster than BlackBerry Bridge. Direct tethering works directly via the carrier network, Bridge uses BIS and is routed throuh the NOC.

my problem with internet sharing/wifi hotspot in general is that you drain 2 devices at a high rate rather than one (this includes bridge, but bridge doesnt necessarily have to be used for internet access)...
