Wow - that's new on the US website. I haven't been there in a while, but I don't remember that being there. Have pics with the Q10 and the PlayBook.

Yup, that's BB and it's coming soon motto. Further confusion for the customers. Stay Bold, you'll get full bridge function with our playbook the beta of our BB10 but get our BB10 devices and experience full BB10 functions with Z10 and Q10 but wait for 10.1 and also 10.2 coming soon. Also Aristo with bigger screen. If not we have a new BB 7 for the old fashion........

Yeah I don't believe it's coming, not even for a minute.

Seriously, who would purchase it full price or sign a contract to get one now knowing that they absolutely, positively refuse to even work on some basic updates to the browser and bridge?

Woooo, ooooo, ooooo (to the tune of the Twilight Zone music) - you have entered a realm of imagination and whatever the ......

Seems someone stumbled on a lost webpage link. They even list the 16gig.

I recall calling Yosemite National Park and used their automated system to check the weather. The report was from a year earlier and a different day. When I finally reached a real person and asked, they said that they canNOT find that weather message and canNOT delete it. It was somewhere in there system and occasionally someone would get connected to it. The link above reminds me of that - an ad and webpage for a device lost in time and space.

    Rod Serling over and out.

Not trying to hate on BlackBerry. I love my Z10 and Q10, I love tinkering with stuff and to me there's no other platform out there that gives you the satisfaction of tinkering quite like BlackBerry 10 (even Android). But the Playbook thing really irks me.

I wouldn't have even been mad at all if it was something like "Hey listen, we tested, we tested, and the original playbook and playbook LTE just don't fit the bill. So heeeerrres Playbook 2!". I would have bought it. Still will if it ever happens.

F2, fresh pics though of PlayBook with the Q10. 64gb pricing showing at $219, if I recall from looking when OP posted.

Doesn't make much sense, but it definitely looks current.

    More fire sale?

***edit*** at $219, I would maybe buy 2 more 64gb, they are valuable tools for me in my work, and can't say they've disappointed me.

Maybe someone discovered a pallet of them in a backroom or offsite warehouse. If you follow purchase links, they lead to email addresses rather than actual shop url addresses. At least, my short look around did.

Who knows. Maybe the lte pb is not as dead as the wifi models. Maybe they will support it better but I certainly would not count on that.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

I got to the point where I would grit my teeth every time I heard "Coming soon".... quickly that translates into "take a dump in one hand and wish in the other and see which hand fills up first."

Wouldn't that be funny if they found a few more pallet hidden in the warehouse and need to unload them. They have to rerelease the promise, coming soon, maybe , no update press release?

Well if this is true and it is going to be available in the United States finally then I have to say, "It was one of the hardest decisions I had to make"
In the world of my business it would be a bad decision to support BlackBerry trying to unload non supported devices.
    Sound familiar Thor

Well, this gives us incentives to keep talking about the presumed limitations of the pb's OS and that they will continue to be limitations on the lte units. After all "buyers beware" should be kept in the loop about the pb.

They've simply been updating the ad placeholder on the web page with the newer phones. Happened with the Z10 as well. Methinks you are reading too much into this.
