Low Playbook Storage Space

I have about 6GB of music and video files on my 16GB playbook, with approximately 100 apps, yet the available storage indicated is only 215mb. Given the OS is 2GB or so, can someone let me know what is taking up the rest of the storage, approximately 8GB. Cheers.

I just wiped mine and with nothing, not even the wallpaper or video that comes with it I have 12.1 free. So with your 6gb of music your left with 6gb or less. 100 apps plus data with them could easily fill it up.
