- My new PlayBook has brought so many problems in my life.
My partner complains that I'm using it too much and that I prioritise the PlayBook over anything else in our relationship.
My partner complains that I am obsessed with the PlayBook and every single bit of news related to BlackBerry.
My partner complains when I bring the PlayBook to bed and gets jealous that my eyes, ears and mind are on the PlayBook.
So to counter all that, my partner wants to get an iPad to make me jealous instead.
I silently giggle to myself.
I think RIM should set up a couples' counselling service for all those couples who have similar problems to me.
I mean, I love my baby so much with all my heart... so my partner needs to just accept 2nd place right??01-13-12 04:57 AMLike 15 -
- It's all the manufacturer's fault! If only they would all get together and make a native video chat program that works across all platforms. Then you could talk to her again.cntrydncr223 and recompile like this.01-13-12 05:04 AMLike 2

This will never work with my wife. She is old fashion if you know what i mean. Her phone would make 1st generation BB super smart phone. The digits on her phone are the size of the screen. Must be resolution 10 x 10Last edited by bitek; 01-13-12 at 07:41 AM.
01-13-12 07:32 AMLike 0 - I had recieved a 16gig pb from work. My wife used it often enough to get her a 32gig for Christmas. But I had gig envy. I saw walmart had the 64gig on sale and bought one. Now we aren't speaking... unless it's via blackberry video chat.01-13-12 07:37 AMLike 2

I find it not funny at all, if that was what you intended.... no one wants anyone to die (the wife or their PB).
This post made me feel sick, spoils the fun nature of this whole thread.....01-13-12 08:56 AMLike 3 -

that would be because you are a member of today's corrupted generation which resorts to submitting harassment reports at your workplace for every tiny imagined slight (usually for personal gain or a personal power trip) rather than ignoring it, or heaven forbid getting thicker skin or dealing with it yourself. I'll bet you reported that post for moderation. I'll bet you feel pretty powerful and immune behind your keyboard after you did that. I'm not taking sides but I'm so tired of this nasty vindictive and hateful attitude people have nowadays. Maybe that poster was a war veteran who has been through a lot of nasty stuff and had a dark sense of humor? Newsflash for you: soldiers and people in high stress jobs tell jokes like that all the time. There are folks like that out there you know. They're defending your right to report them If you don't like it, put them on ignore. The worst part is me even having to state the obvious. The most obvious flaw in you reply is this: Stand-up comics tells jokes like this all the time and much, much worse and they get laughs because your normal reasonable person knows it's just a joke.
I'd rather hear some dry dark humor than responses like yours anyday and I know I'm far from alone. Just sit back and watch the number of "likes" I get for this post compared to yours. I know damn well people are fed up with that mentality and sick and tired of being intimidated and forced to walk on eggshells because of people who want to stifle free speech because of people with ulterior motives!!
That and your argument makes no sense since the comment has nothing to do with free speech what so ever. Now please, get back on topic.
"Gig envy" totally made me chuckle!Last edited by dejanh; 01-13-12 at 12:13 PM.

You don't know me, so don't call out names. You are betting a lot in your post, that I have reported that post and so on and so forth, and assuming that way I act at my job.
You are welcome to listen to whatever dark humor you enjoy.
I understand when people make humor of certain unfortunate situations in life to cope with them better, losing someones wife is no joke, and I do not intend to make fun of it either. The poster did not mention whether he has faced such a situation in real life (God forbid), or was that a comment in passing.
You think you are going to get a billion likes for your post, well good luck on that, hope CB gives you a prize for it... and while you wait to count your likes, look at my profile also.... with the likes and thanks.
All your trash talking about calling me powerful and immune sitting behind a keyboard,.... I bet you feel the same after posting your rather absurd message. All powerful sitting on your high horse that you managed to make a post trying to attack me.
If you don't agree you don't have to post disparaging remarks, if you tell me to ignore the post that I had responded to, so could you have ignored mine, it was not even intended for you to begin with...... if the original poster I had responded to took offense at what I wrote, he/she could come and respond. But you came along, all protecting the innocence of a post which at face value was distasteful.pbmc likes this.01-13-12 12:26 PMLike 1
