If you have an HDTV, try the micro HDMI cable. We use it to watch movies in hotels. Try the one by Rocketfish.

once you connect your PB to your tv with the micro-hdmi cable, make sure you check your hdmi settings... attached is a screenshot of my hdmi settings.

If the speakers on your hdtv aren't as good as your sound system, you may have other options.

For example, if you have a surround sound amp/receiver with hdmi in, you should be able to connect the PB to the amp and if the hdtv is conndcted to the amp, then you will see the video output thru the amp/receiver to the tv with the audio being output over your surround sound speakers instead of the tv speakers.

Another example is if you have a sound-dock or other external speakers you can connect ipods/mp3 players to. Most of these sound-docks have an input for a regular headphone jack. I just connect my PB to the sound-dock using a cable that has a 3.5mm headphone jack at either end. If I want to do this while watching video connected to am hdtv, I go into the PB hdmi settings and select "off" for hdmi audio. This means the video goes out from the PB over hdmi and the audio goes out over the headphone jack. Sometimes this has been really useful for me.

This is such a sweet feature of the PB, to be able to choose whether or not the audio output from the PB is transmitted over the hdmi cable.

Overpriced. Because HDMI is digital the signal either works or it doesn't, there's no picture quality advantage to buying a high quality cable. The only quality difference between cables is the durability of their construction, and for that Monoprice is excellent while also being cheap.
