    So I've charged up on the quick charger and now after usage the battery icon still has the lightening bolt symbol on it. It's like it's still charging though the battery shows normal usage. is this weird?

    Not really. Reboot, should fix it. Unless of course you don't want to fix it, in which case carry on. *shrug*

    And also keep in mind that almost half of unusual bugs in BlackBerry can be fixed by reboot
