I was with you, I didn't expect BB to fix this and am pleasantly surprised that they bothered.

It's working again!!! Just tried it. The activation/update server is back online! Do not throw your playbook away. Go activate it!

But they didn't announce one day that they were coming over to take your 5 1/4's Dos boot ,Lotus and WordStar diskettes did they?....Hold on let me go down to the dungeon and see if I still have them....I really liked that Dark Mode green screen...oh wait it was SuperCalc not Lotus......and for 5Grand Canadian with the 5Meg hard drive that probably cost more than a good used car back then....and up North the diskettes don't rust like the cars do.
John, thank you at Blackberry for the speedy resolve and response. I'm setting up my PlayBook as I write and so far it is a smooth process.
